Here at Waveney Dog Retreat we have your dog's needs as our top priority. With our purpose built cabin, secure garden and long walks for off lead exercise and socialisation we can guarantee peace of mind while your dog is in our care.
Our small, dedicated and experienced team are here to make your dog's days fun, stimulating and structured so that you have a happy and settled dog once they are home.
Our facilities are fully licensed with a top new business rating of 4*.

What we offer
FuLL DAY DAYCARE
DOG WALKING
Our full day daycare offers a stimulating, structured day for your dog. Our purpose built cabin offers a place for your dog to sleep and relax after exercising with the rest of the pack.
Prices from: £30 per day
HALF DAY DAYCARE
We also offer 60 minute and 30 minute dog walks.
On a Wednesday and Friday afternoon we will be offering 'Group pack Walks', a chance for your dog to exercise with all the daycare dogs.
Please get in touch if you would like to book your dog in for regular walks.
We also offer a half day daycare, your dog can spend the morning with us and enjoy some exercise with the rest of the pack. Half day daycare runs from 8 am until 12 pm.
Prices from: £18 per half day
FREE LOCAL PICK UP AND DROP OFF
We offer free local pick and drop off. For any pick up and drop offs more than 5 miles there will be an additional fee.
Free Initial meet and greet
Before any day care is booked we will come out for free to meet your dog in their own environment. This gives us a chance to get to know them and vice versa and for us to be familiar faces to them when they begin their days with us.

Please contact us with any enquiries about bookings. You can do this via the chat box, email or messaging on social media. Terms and conditions apply to dog daycare/dog walking. These will be sent out prior to booking.
Dog training and Behaviour services
We offer 1-2-1 bespoke sessions designed to help you with your dog's specific issues.
Initial Free Telephone Consultation
Before coming out to you for a 1-2-1 we will first offer a free phone call to discuss the issues you are having.
1-2-1 Consultation/Ongoing Sessions
We will come out to you in your home to start addressing any issues you are having. No issue is too big or too small!
Puppy 1-2-1
Do you want to get a head start with your pup by learning all the foundations you should be putting in place? Perfect for as soon as you get your new pup home.

OUR FACILITIES

Our purpose-built cabin provides a clean, spacious and relaxing area for our daycare dogs.

We have a large garden that is fully enclosed and full of enrichment for the dogs.

Each dog will have access to their own bed, toys and bowls.

We have calm and quiet areas where the dogs can relax and listen to some classical music while they rest.

Dogs will be taken on a long walk each day, this may be to the woods, local fields or even then beach.

where it all began...
Hi, I'm Sam, the owner of Waveney Dog Retreat. My career with dogs began almost 20 years ago when I started working at a small dog rescue centre after moving to Norfolk from London. After a few years there, I moved on to work for the UK's largest dog rehoming charity. It was here where my passion for dogs really took off and I attended many courses and seminars to become the Dog Trainer of the centre in which I worked. I carried out behavioural assessments, handled thousands of dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments and developed training plans for dogs with behavioural issues.
My mission for Waveney Dog Retreat is to help as many owners and dogs as possible and provide a top quality, professional service in which your dogs can thrive!
